Great news for those of you who love the ‘private powder zone’ feeling of Cat Skiing! In partnership with with Hoshino Resorts Tomamu we are sharing this opportunity to ski and ride some epic new terrain with us.
This is a very popular Cat Ski operation and normally completely booked out each winter by Hokkaido locals.
Whiteroom guides will accompany you on the day and we also arrange for all logistics including transport from Furano.
Your day will include uphill travel by Cat from 600m to 1300m elevation, lunch and 5 runs of up to 500m vertical.

Let us help you create a multi day package at Tomamu, which can include Cat Skiing and also add on a few days to explore Tomamu’s extensive backcountry and powder zones with our guides, or just cruise the resort by yourself and enjoy the great terrain. Packages are completely customisable.

Ability Level – Advanced in powder
You must be able to ski the whole mountain with confidence and at a reasonable speed in powder, through trees and in variable conditions. You must have a good level of fitness.
- Whiteroom does not offer refunds on Snowcat Tours.
- If Whiteroom or Tomamu Hoshino Resorts need to cancel the cat ski day due to weather, snow stability, mechanical issue, or unforeseen emergency, Whiteroom will offer a guided lift-assisted day trip to Tomamu and refund the difference in price (89,000yen per person, less a Tomamu day lift pass).
