The Japan Avalanche Network (JAN) is the primary source for avalanche information across Japan, including daily avalanche bulletins. JAN maintains a strong a focus on improving avalanche safety through a variety of activities that integrate avalanche education and information.
Whiteroom are proud to work in conjunction with JAN in the Niseko area, as a forecasting partner contributing to the ‘Niseko Yotei Yoichi Shiribeshi’ avalanche bulletins.
These bulletins are provided daily over the winter months and are an essential resources for everyone planning backcountry adventures.
